Shumka Centre

  • Identity

Shumka Centre for Creative Entrepreneurship is an initiative of Living Labs at the Emily Carr University of Art & Design in Vancouver. The organization is focused on fostering up and coming artists and designers and empowering them with the practical knowledge, tools and resources to develop equitable projects and sustainable business practices.

We worked with the Shumka team to develop a visual identity that is flexible, highly contemporary and applicable to a wide range of applications. Our ultimate goal for the project was to unify the Centre’s diverse and evolving group of audiences, programming and initiatives under a single, consistent banner of graphic language that speaks boldly and reflects a sensibility that is on the leading edge of contemporary design and art.
